General Information:
Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
Voters will need to vote at their assigned polling place on Election Day. Click here to view a list of Linn County Polling Places (PDF).
Voters can find their polling place and sample ballot by entering their address in the Lookup Tool.
Absentee ballots will be mailed on Wednesday, October 14, to those voters who requested a mailed ballot.
Early in-person absentee voting will begin on Wednesday, October 14.
The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot is 5 p.m. Monday, October 19. Absentee ballot request forms (PDF) must be in the office by that date. Postmarks do not count!
The voter pre-registration deadline closes at 5 p.m. Monday, October 19. Voter registration forms (PDF) must be in the office by that date.
Early in-person absentee voting will end at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2.
Voted absentee ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. to Election Services on Election Day for counting.
